I never liked this style of art. But after watching the documentary Picasso and Braque go to the Movies, my interest was piqued, and now I have a better understanding of what these artists were trying to do. If you watch this film, you will see what I mean. They are relating to and incorporating the flickering light of the old projectors into their paintings, also, the still images, and moving images...this is a new thing in their era.
